Sony AVCHD to FCP-How to Convert Sony DSC-TX7 AVCHD MTS to Final Cut Pro?

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 is one of the AVCHD cameras from Sony Cyber-shot series with small size. Another AVCHD digital camera for the Cyber-shot series released in 2010 is DSC-HX5V. Both cameras record videos in 1920x1080 with stereo audio, and store videos in .mts file extension.

The Picture Motion Browser (PMB) is available with Mac version for DSC-TX7. Here is an alternative for transferring from PMB. After connecting Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 and Apple computer via USB, you can find the .mts files from the private folder with the following procedure: PRIVATE > AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM folder. Copy the .mts files to Apple hard drive.
